In this blog post, we’ll explore the exciting world of upcycling and discover creative ways to transform those neglected coasters into beautiful, functional pieces of art.

Sometimes, our initial expectations don’t quite match reality. This was precisely the case when I purchased what I thought were plain wooden coasters, only to discover an unexpected and rather unsettling skull design etched into them. Filled with horror, I promptly stashed them away in storage.
It was only the other week, I decided to do some spring cleaning and came across the coasters again. I really needed some coasters for my coffee table. Determined to give them a new lease on life, I decided to transform these coasters into something beautiful.
I gathered my acrylic paints and opened up Pinterest on my laptop. The screen was adorned with a plethora of captivating flower images that had mesmerized me in recent weeks. Daisies, roses, and tulips danced across the pages, each one a symbol of nature’s beauty. Inspired by this abundant floral inspiration, a thought sparked in my mind—why not replace the skulls with vibrant blooms?
